Haven't posted in awhile. I've been really busy with I guess all that there is to do in summer. With the little time I have, I think I'm going to be making shorter posts, that way I can continue to update without worrying about unfinished articles.

Yesterday, I attended a performance by the Joshua Redman Trio. It was him and a bassist (something Ruben) and a great drummer (Eric Harland). They gave an amazing performance and played with real groove. Half of the performance was from one of Redman's CD's-Back East... the rest was music I think he'd picked out on his own.

If any of you have time, check out his song Zarafah, one of my favorites from the performance. He also played Indian Song and Twinkle Twinkle by Thelonious Monk.

I'm really glad I could attend.
